Of maths and a missing car

What a very strange dream.

I dreamt that I was still attending school, and the teacher had given us Maths homework the previous day. I forgot about it, and it wasn't till it was almost due when I suddenly remembered and wanted to hurry home to do it.

Alas and alack, when I got to the parking lot, I couldn't find my car so I trudged the perimeter of the school in the darkness and rain, clicking my red pen (which happens to be the remote for my car - go figure) to see which car will beep in response. Halfway through, my pen broke. By then, I was beyond frustrated.

I climbed hills and circled the parking lot twice, almost in tears. All the while, I was thinking about the Maths homework I had yet to finish.

Then, out of the blue, my husband came towards me, laughing. He handed me keys and pointed towards my car, which was parked back in its original spot.

Apparently, he had duplicated the keys using some kit his friend had borrowed him and drove my car somewhere else.

Boy, was I mad.

Towards the end of the dream, I was doing my homework and slugging him with my maths book (which is pretty hefty), all the while scolding him for making me miserable and panicky.

He apologized over and over again but I was still pretty mad.

Game Play

This dream is in bits and pieces. Mostly flashes, feelings - the pictures themselves don't make sense but somehow I know what's going on. I'll describe it the best I can.

Ms. Chai (Avon's District Manager - I know her personally) was panting at the staircase, obviously tired. She complained that her new aide knew nothing about her workload and would like him to try her shoes on sometime. The aide suddenly said, "Why don't you?" from behind a wall. I looked up in surprise and looked at Ms. Chai sheepishly - in a way that you feel embarassed when someone you talked about not only heard but bit back a retort.

Ms. Chai waved her arms dismissively and rolled her eyes.

Suddenly out of nowhere, glass jars were flung or dropped in our way and they broke - pieces of glass flying everywhere and some cutting our skin. I looked down in horror as I realized - that this glass jar contained a virus of some sort that turns me into a vampire.

~~~
I met my vampire family - it's a hierarchy, with this enigmatic man as the leader. I don't know what's his name. Vampire rituals were commonplace and they expect me to participate in one with the leader. For some reason, I acted snobbish and cold. The others were angered by my behavior and wanted to subdue me, so they pressured me to undergo this ritual. It was a sexual act, and as I went to the bathroom to prepare myself... the others were waiting outside.
On the way up the stairs, my mom appeared and she seemed drunken. She giggled girlishly and tried to kiss me, flirting and rubbing with me and I remember feeling that this is completely wrong. I evaded her clutches and went on my way.
The moment I went into the bathroom however, I dropped all act and collapsed against the bathtub. 'This isn't me,' I thought. 'The vampire virus didn't change me completely.'
I climbed in and waited.
They brought in an ugly guy with a potbelly. I was supposed to undergo the ritual with this guy!
Angered, I demanded an explanation. I insisted on doing the ritual with the leader, and the leader only.
~~~

It was dark outside, and I was in a camp with two other guys. I was magnetically drawn to one of them, for some reason. I found him extremely attractive.

I guess I was shy, so I changed channels (this is from playing too much Granado Espada) and went outside. Just to avoid being with him, I suppose.

I saw my husband's team passing by.

Eventually, I came to a place overlooking his tent. There were some words sprayed at the sides, I don't remember them but I know one of them is "ele".

Out of nowhere, his hand closed around my neck from behind and I submitted... it was strangely animalistic - I complied to his wishes and relaxed against him, breathing in his scent. I know he meant me no harm and his scent actually calmed me.

And then I woke up. :D

A Fish Tank Pot

Let's start with an easy one. This dream I had last night is quite short, as I can't remember the rest of the dream very well but something about this dream stood out like a sore thumb.

I was staying at a bleak hostel with my high school best friend, named Sheau Inn. The hostel was built mostly out of concrete, walls blackened at certain places and damp at others, encouraging moses to grow all over the place.

I was just waking up, to find Sheau Inn cooking in the kitchen. She looked up and smiled, and I asked her what was she cooking.

"Come on, I'll show you," she said.

Beckoning me to follow her, she led me to a fish tank sitting atop a fire. It was at least 20 gallon, and filled to the brim. The water was boiling and within, there was a black pot with some food sticking out of it, and some mussles and clams at the bottom of the tank, merrily cooking away.

I can't remember the rest. XD

Take a warm milk...

Blame LoneNeko for nudging me into creating a dream log of my own. Like millions of others, I have strange/interesting/weird dreams that are so vivid, it felt like living an entirely different world the moment the lights are out. At times, I wonder if logging it will reveal a pattern or reflect what is going on in my waking moments. Yes, why not? Psychoanalyzing dreams can make you go, "Hmm... interesting."

Or.

It can downright mean nothing and it's just something my fried brain cooks up to mess with me.

So... stick around if you want to read meaningless dreams I have at night. God knows you're bored. XD
